LJ have just made that thumbtack function easier; you click on the icon and can set your prefs there and then without going to a new page; I approve. Good job, LJ!
A few days agooceana_ pointed to this weird thing where you watch a silhouetted dancer twirl and try to work out if she's going clockwise or anti; unsurprisingly, I saw it the 'wrong' way because I'm weird. And then it flipped and I saw it the other way and I started to get suspicious that the loop wasn't a single rotation but it's not a trick. I watched it with David, with both of us calling out which way she was turning and getting it different every time; it switched for me; stayed the same for him.
So not a trick; just perception and the way your brain interprets stuff. Deeply worrying in some ways; you really can't trust your eyes, can you?
