After the last book, hell, yes, of course he was, is about the only response I could come up with, but I'm just cowering in anticipation of the wankstorm that will follow.
Because people will be glad, sad, and mad and they'll pout that she said it after, not in the books, and the whole canon will need to be reevaluated and oh....
