Types LJ cut really fast....
OMGOMGOMG.
That was just awesome. Seriously. From the inspired, tongue in cheek casting of the dazed, ditzy vampire who didn't know what bit her, to Gordon's fate, to Dean and Sam finally reconciling.
My only tiny, tiny quibble is that they're dropping the anvils from awfully high up sometimes, but, eh, this show kind of does that.
Gordon. God, could any fate be worse? And did he know that he probably wouldn't have killed himself afterwards? Or would he have carried that strength of purpose he has in spades just a little further and done it? Three human lives weighing him down... who knows.
Really dark this one. Not scary, just bloody and angsty.
I totally choked up over the Sam/Dean interactions this week, especially the 'Just 'cause' instead of a long, scripted speech and the perfection of the gesture at the end. Oh, boys. Yes.
I'm going to miss Gordon in some ways. And I'm guessing Sam's going to be seeing his face in his nightmares for a while. I hope so, anyway, or I'd worry about him.
More, that is.
