I got a couple of Laurell Hamilton books out of the library (we used to buy them; hardcovers sometimes as David and I both read them. No more).
In Mistral's Kiss she uses the word 'screamed' five times in 23 lines.
That is poor writing, poor editing, and just plain sloppy.
I'm now working my way through The Harlequin and already feel the urge to slap Anita for being judgy about Nathaniel being a stripper and pissy about him telling her he has needs and she's not meeting them.
Anita used to rock. When did that stop? When did she turn into this deeply unsympathetic bitch? And six boyfriends? She has six of 'em now?
Wow.
That's just.... wow.
Why can't I just walk away from this author, why? :;weeps blood tears::
And where's Edward? I like Edward :;broods:;
