Episode thoughts with spoilers, natch, behind the cut.
Now, that was good. You had to have been watching the show; it wasn't a stand alone episode for all the flashbacks, but it was a nice wrap up of some dangling plot threads -- then a whole new one unraveled at the end.
Masses of angst, tested loyalties, and snark. Again, Abby felt laid on a tad too thickly in her scenes, but she was deliberately playing a role, so maybe not too surprising.
I'm primarily a Gibbs/Tony gal but I have to say I could write Tony/McGee without any trouble and I adored the starting scene and the flashbacks Tim had about just how professional their relationship was.
Ziva broke my heart at the end there and yes, I suppose Tony had to do it. Kinder. Cleaner. But ouch.
I'm unspoiled, 100% and want to stay that way, but Jenny's on borrowed time now. Gibbs knows she killed someone who was innocent of the crime he was killed for and that's not going to sit well with him.
Always love a Fornell episode...
