Going behind the cut. Not squeeful, just to warn you.

Bones first. Okay, most of me knew he couldn't be dead but I was going with dream sequence not something that lame. I'd have punched him, too. I get that he had her on the list, but there would still have been a space of time when she believed he was dead and for him to be so oblivious about why that mattered is just.... gah.

I wanted to punch Sweets, too. Often. Do we really need him? Why?

And what the hell was that stupidity of keeping them away from investigating the box, because it's a crime scene, for several hours?

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? I'm just... a stupid one-line joke destroys all the credibility of the set-up, just like that. The lab is not a freaking crime scene! It's the place the box was opened, that's all. And it was always going to be investigated by the people standing there waiting, so why... Oh, I give up.

Zack's hands getting hurt was horrible. The reveal was horrible, too. I get it; Zack does have a certain lack of humanity; he's distanced, alien even. But to do that to a main character and spend about ten minutes on it? I don't know why he did it, not really, how he met the Gormonthingummy, when his involvement began -- I don't know any of that and I'm feeling frustrated and pissy.

Onto House. Mood not improving. This is Amber, okay? She's been around a few months or so. No one liked her. Wilson and her, had she not died, probably wouldn't have lasted long; House would've seen to that. Wilson told House his life was worth less than Amber's. The hurt on House's face... and only his own guilt made him do it. And then Wilson turned away again at the end. I get that Wilson isn't thinking clearly, but this is not House's fault. It's a series of unfortunate events, to borrow a phrase. If the bus hadn't crashed, all would've been fine; did House make the bus crash? No, he did not.

And poor 13. God, give her a name, will you?

I'm just feeling manipulated into feeling sad. And I AM sorry Amber's dead but we just haven't known her long enough to be invested in her.

And for the love of heaven, get Cameron and Chase out of the freaking credits! They aren't playing a role anymore. They're in about three minutes of the episode.
