Delighted to announce that The Empty Box by Alexa and me is now available from Loose Id and will shortly be available from the usual resellers.

As always, writing with Alexa was pure joy. It's like doing something fun but better. Much better :-)

This is the third in the Square Peg series. In each book(The Square Peg and The Broken Triangle) we've focused on a different pairing without ignoring the ones featured in earlier books. Expect a little Shane and Ben, a little Vin and Patrick, and get to know quiet Dave, the Peg's chef a whole lot better.

Dave’s taking life day by day after leaving Travis, his emotionally abusive partner of fifteen years. Working as the cook at the Square Peg is all the social life he has and he’s content with that.

When a swerving car leaves him sprawled on the snowy sidewalk with a broken ankle, being rescued by his new neighbor, young, sinfully pretty Jeremy, seems like the start of something good, even if twenty years separate the two men. But Travis isn’t content to let Dave slip away and Dave’s his own worst enemy, holding Jeremy at arms’ length when Jeremy wants to get as close as possible.

With decisions about his future complicated by his tangled past, can Dave accept the second chance Jeremy offers or will his heart stay empty of love?
Alexa and I have a new book coming out on April 7 from Loose Id; 'The Empty Box', third in the Square Peg series.

Valerie Tibbs has done us a wonderful cover for it.

Alex A. Akira, m/m writer and blogger invited Alexa to be interviewed and she asked if I'd like to answer the questions too, which, yes, of course, why not? So here we are being interviewed about our favorite music, authors and all sorts of things.

Interview
Very happy to announce the release of 'The Broken Triangle' by Jane Davitt and Alexa Snow. It's the sequel to 'The Square Peg' and it's available from Loose Id here.

Many thanks to our editor Serena Stokes, all at Loose Id, and our cover artist Valerie Tibbs.

And it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, writing with Alexa was, as ever, a complete pleasure. This is our eleventh book together and I don't recall a single argument, heck even a mild disagreement. That is saying something when you consider how fraught book writing can be. She rocks.

Vin's a hot Goth, tattooed and pierced and the most popular bartender at the Square Peg. Want to date him or buy him a drink? Sorry. Vin's body is a temple and he's barely been kissed. His heart belongs to Riley, the guy he crushed on in high school and can't forget.

How about Vin's BFF Patrick? He'd let you buy him a drink and have your wicked way with him in the men's room (shh, don't tell Shane or Ben, the bar owners!) Okay, maybe Vin needs to loosen up and Patrick needs to calm down, but they're set in their ways.

Enter Riley, looking for Vin, and suddenly everything changes. Vin's handed a happy ending on a plate and Patrick's free and easy lifestyle loses its glitter as he sees what Vin has.

But does Vin really have his dream guy or does he just have Riley? Maybe they're not the same thing, after all.
Delighted to announce that Rock and a Hard Place by Jane Davitt and Alexa Snow is now available from Loose Id here with a gorgeous cover by Valerie Tibbs.

As ever, writing with Alexa was more like a lazy day lounging by the pool, cool drink in hand, than work. So much so that we went straight into writing a new book, current title The Square Peg that will be coming out from Loose Id later this year, so go us :-))

Determined to outdo each other, business rivals Sean and Andrew land themselves in hot water when their private feud spills over at a very public charity auction. With neither willing to back down over the dream vacation at stake, they're told by their boss that they're both going and that they're to return as friends.

As fate would have it, their plane crashes and they wash up on a desert island where their feud is as likely to doom them as the lack of food and their inability to start a fire. But there's enough heat between them to set sparks flying once out and proud Sean discovers that Andrew's gay, but determined to remain in the closet.

Rescue comes, but brings with it new challenges. They're whisked back to their old lives with secrets to keep and a shared passion that makes it impossible for them to stay apart for long.

Choices must be made, new paths taken, and two men who have always been good at fighting find themselves, finally, with something worth fighting for: each other.
I'm thrilled to announce that Truthful Change, co-written with Alexa, has now been released by Loose Id. Alexa and I had such a good time writing and researching this one and I hope that people enjoy it.

As ever, as always, I couldn't have asked for a better co-writer and I can't wait for us to start a new project in the fall.

We'd both like to thank [personal profile] tx_cronopio for giving the book a onceover to make sure that we'd got the Dallas setting correct; thank you so much for all the little details you caught! ::hugs::

Thanks go also to Judi, our wonderful editor, all the proofing and admin staff at Loose Id, and April Martinez who creates some of the most gorgeous covers out there.

Truthful Change can be purchased as an e-book here.

And here's an excerpt from it:

Karl Blake's good at a lot of things: killing bad guys, rescuing hostages...and looting priceless diamonds, but when a bullet ends his career as a mercenary he discovers that he's really bad at living in a huge house with nothing to do. A shy, oddly sexy gardener with an unexpected liking for rough sex seems just what the doctor ordered for his boredom. But Adam's got secrets that make Karl's seem mundane, and if the two of them are going to find a future together, there's a lot more to deal with than dandelions in the lawn.

With the past and the present combining to push them apart, betrayal, hurt, and mistrust around every corner, the two of them need to focus less on labels and more on what they are to each other.

Because a rose by any other name...
