Project Chair

A while back (years) I bought a navy wooden chair from Value Village and spray painted it copper, then chalk painted it pale green.

Then about three months ago, I decided to see what was underneath and discovered about 7 different layers under the two I was responsible for.

Applied stripper and am sanding in fits and goes. I think it's maple... Never knew how many bits a chair had until I started to sand one down. Painting it? Easy peasy.

Anyway, here are some pix of the progress. Hoping to finish up soon but David and I are recovering from Covid (nabbed us after 2 years but triple jabbed and it's bearable) and I can get exhausted lying on the couch, I swear.

I don't know why I drifted away...just life, I guess. I have been mostly tweeting but I was on there from 2009 and I certainly carried on posting long after that. Look forward to settling in again! Will take a while (still recovering from Covid and get tired fast) but watch this space!
