Richard Burgi and Cyndi Lauper

In a comment, lounge_lily told me that Richard Burgi was in Cyndi Lauper's 'I Drove All Night' vid which sent me straight to YouTube at 7.30 a.m. sleepy eyed but a woman on a mission.

I can't find anything online about it, but the man's only in a few scenes (naked in bed, seen from a distance; the best shot is thirty seconds from the end) so I suppose that's not surprising. And it certainly does look like him.

Now I'm humming it in a haze of late 80s nostalgia...

More Burgi news

It's odd how some news surfaces first on LJ and sometimes on the lists... Anyway, just read on a Sentinel list that Richard is playing the sheriff in the remake of Friday the 13th along with Jared Padalecki. Big change in genre from the last movie they worked on together...

It's supposed to be out in Feb 2009.
